LiqLab Capture — Privacy Policy
Applies to the LiqLab — LIQpmo Capture browser extension. Last updated 8 July 2026.
LiqLab Capture lets you save a note or pin a post-it to any web page and file it into your own LiqLab
project workspace (your “PMO”). This policy explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with
your data. It is written to be read, not to hide anything.
The short version
- The extension only sends data when you choose to — when you right-click and save a note or post-it, or open its popup and press Save.
- It does not read, scrape, collect, or transmit the content of the pages you browse in the background.
- Everything you save goes to your own LiqLab account at
api.liqlab.ai and nowhere else.
- We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share it with third parties.
What the extension stores on your device
- Your access token — pasted from your LiqLab Account page so the extension can save to your account.
It is kept in the browser’s local extension storage on this device only (it is not synced to Google or
to us) and is sent solely to
api.liqlab.ai as your authorization when you save or load your own items.
- Your chosen project — which of your LiqLab projects new captures file into.
What is sent to the LiqLab API — only when you act
When you save a note or pin a post-it, the extension sends to api.liqlab.ai:
- the text you typed;
- an anchor for the element you right-clicked so the post-it can be re-placed later — this includes the
page’s URL, its title, the clicked element’s tag and a short text snippet of it, and the click coordinates;
- your access token (as the authorization header) and your selected project id.
To display your own post-it pins, you choose “LiqLab: show my post-its here” from the right-click
menu — only then does the extension ask the API for the pins you previously saved for that page’s path, and it
returns only your data. The extension does not look up or transmit anything on page load; it stays inert
until you invoke a menu action. No page content is uploaded for this.
What the extension does NOT do
- It does not run any automatic collection of page text, form fields, passwords, cookies, or browsing history.
- It does not build a profile of you, track you across sites, or send data to any analytics or advertising service.
- It does not transmit anything to any server other than
api.liqlab.ai.
Why it can run on any site
The extension is allowed to run on all sites so that its two features work wherever you are: (1) adding the
right-click “note this / pin a post-it” actions, and (2) re-drawing your own saved post-its on the page.
Both are inert until you use them; the extension takes no action on a page on its own.
Your control & deletion
- Remove the token any time by clearing it in the popup or removing the extension — captures already saved
remain in your LiqLab account.
- View, edit, or delete anything you’ve saved from your workspace at
liqlab.ai/pm.
- Uninstalling the extension deletes its locally stored token and settings from your browser.
Data retention & security
Captures you save are stored in your LiqLab account until you delete them. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Because your access token grants access to your account, treat it like a password.
